Hopping onto the main page redesign Ned was requesting, I'm here today showing all of you a few other changes I've been coming up with. I'd really appreciate it if you post any opinions or critics you have for any of these, as I'm still working very hard on these to make them ready to put up on the wiki.

Alright, getting to the new designs now, first off is the new Noarticletext. I'm open to suggestions on any wording changes anyone has for this, but I'd like to think the rest of it is fine (unless you guys don't think it is :P)

Mediawiki:Community-corner

Next is the Community Corner. I'm still working on changing and adding a few things to this, just to make it more updated for the wiki as it is now. I don't think I want to change the headers, but I'm open to suggestions on that

Template:Nav

New Nav, updated the font color so it's not as hard to read

Mediawiki:Wikia.js

Finally took away the snow, going to put the code for it somewhere so we have it for when we actually need it. While this can very easily be done, just putting everything up here

Gamers Fanon Wiki

Last, but certainly not least, the new Main Page. I'm still working on the colors, and I'm still moving a few of the sections around seeing how they look, but I want to hear a lot of your suggestions for this one. Any suggestions for color schemes, wording, and placement is welcome.

So I just want to see how you guys like everything so far, and to keep up with all of your opinions, here's two polls poll.

Might be possible to keep it, but it probably will be changed

Most edited articles is in Recent Activity, not sure if we have or could make a template for that

That would have to be voted on I believe, and so far it hasn't passed three times already XD

The history one actually isn't a bad idea, but I don't think it would show historical pages (that's kind of already in Community Corner in "Things to See")

Just something to point out that I saw if this design is gonna be kept or whatever, the User Awards are probably gonna start on December 14th, so more or less 114 days as opposed to 136 days. (although that is roughly when the wiki oscars are gonna happen so you get a half point kek)

Actually, I did look at the calender, but I hadn't changed it to where it was User Awards yet, so when I did change it, I kept the time on accident XD

I propose we go back to the original colour scheme of the PPW. Add some spice to this soupa.

I disagree with the originial colour scheme of PPW. I believe we should start to adapt to something more modern, like Google's Material Design designs, that way we can at least try to invoke newcomers' curiosity and if we're lucky we may get new contributors! I don't think newcomers will understand the nostalgia feel like the rest of us.

I agree that we should move on to more modern designs, but as PotCO emulators are getting ready to be released we should temporarily revert to older designs.

Kind of hard to agree with you. I understand where you're coming from since this wiki was founded with pirate blood. However, we did attempt to move on from POTCO which lead us to nothing. How about a compromise where we incorporate a pirate theme?
