Considering there is only one POTCO Emulator, TLOPO, it should get its own category, also considering that there is not a single page based on any other POTCO Emulator on the wiki. This would help for the sake of specificity as well.

Can I have voting rights plz, I'm active on discord and I actually make some edits on the wiki.
You've had the opportunity of having two years to bring anything remotely resembling the activity we had back to the wiki with TLOPO, yet you refused to do any community outreach of ANY kind. It's surprising considering how "vast" you guys claim your target audience is that you haven't managed to bring in anything. Don't start getting fidgety because you can't accept that you're one of the reasons we're at this point. Sorry, mate, but for all intents and purposes, this is a compromise that you have forced us to make. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm not going to write out a full-fledged response, but it was actually Nults who made me aware of the Wiki Discord idea. I had no idea Johnny came up with it.
"potential userbase"
I will completely admit our entire userbase came from POTCO (because we started out as POTCO), but I would also like to point out the only actual NEW user that's managed to come on here since POTCO closed (that I know for a fact at least), that hasn't been here previously, didn't even know what POTCO was. Our userbase may have come from POTCO originally, but that doesn't mean we have to stoop low enough to pick up the scraps that come from TLOPO's table. If people want to make POTCO/POTCO Emulator content still that is completely fine and if it's long enough for a good read that's incredible. That does not mean we need to grovel and change for a community that abandoned us ages ago. We are the ones who are left by whatever circumstances kept us here, and we can all do better than what the current TLOPO community can give. We don't need to act like allowing cursing makes us these terrible people. We've allowed cursing in stories for ages now and I doubt that's the reason people haven't stuck around for longer. We all have to realize the problem we have with gaining a userbase isn't about what we do and don't allow. It's about our activity. I'm not saying if we had an activity like back in 2011 we'd be set for gaining users, that's not even close to what I'm thinking. I'm saying if we all actually contributed to pages, held events everyone could join in that we all actually want to do, and just do anything at all that made us look like we're someplace people would want to get to know more about, then people might stay. I'm not saying I'm perfect or doing anything like that, I know for a fact all I ever do around here when I have the chance to edit is fix age old problems that have haunted us since forever, not actually create content. But I want to do more, I want to help make these events, make my own pages, maybe collaborate on others. I'm not making any promises that I will do this stuff, but I will make the promise that I'll try. Cause I just found the drive I've been looking for to get those things going.
So at this point you're probably wondering what this actually has to do with the proposal. Well it has almost absolutely nothing to do with the proposal, I'm just trying to make a point that's been needed out in the open for a very long time. "We" are actually better than this (our current state, we're not better than allowing cursing) and we can show how great we are if we all have the drive (initiative, whatever you want to call it) to do so. So you can keep popping in for a few minutes and pretending you know everything about this place, you can continue spreading an agenda with absolutely no focus behind it, you can actually focus on making good content and having some fun with friends, or you can leave. Cause seriously I'm tired of the political side of this wiki, and I think we all are in different ways.
Edit post-salty tirade:
Every userbase is a potential userbase for us, we just have to work hard to go out and find the people.
If you're tired of the political side, why are you responding to an argument with a giant essay displaying an insane agenda of your own (of course this probably makes me a hypocrite, RIP, please prepare for a giant essay)? "And we can all do better than what the current TLOPO community can give." This type of behaviour is simply disgusting. If you think of any one person or community as not good enough for us, then I simply don't know how any of the problems can be fixed. It simply perturbs me that this type of mentality could even surface. And news flash, what we need to do is inform people about the wiki. We need to spread the word about it. Having a Wiki Oscars won't bring new people in, as was evident by the previous one. The new generation of players needs to be made aware of us. Also, saying that everything is a potential userbase makes absolutely no sense. The wiki is centered around specific groups of people, POTCO having been its main theme. This is obviously supported by the max exodus following POTCO's closing. News flash, plenty of those people are in Discord. We can easily reach out to them and invite them back into the fold. "But I want to do more, I want to help make these events, make my own pages, maybe collaborate on others." You haven't made any edits to the wiki in days, why are you even trying to go down this road. I will reiterate that the main problem that the wiki needs fixed is exposure. We need to be a safe and fun environment for everyone to enjoy. Swearing will just hurt us even more. Also, I'm surprised you didn't even consider responding to my alternative of having a Wiki Discord that allows swearing. Something tells me you'd rather argue with me to further your own agenda than actually help everyone come to a solution that everyone can agree on.
I agree with Gold as well. I honestly don't know what's gotten into us as of late. All I want to do is make this a safe and family-friendly environment for people of all ages to enjoy (as is also the goal of POTCO/TLOPO, where we get most of our userbase). I do NOT want the first thing that a new user sees in the chat is someone just swearing like a gorilla; that is just what we need to scare them away. To quote Jerry, "We're better than this." If we have any hopes of reaching out to a new and expanded userbase, this is the OPPOSITE direction to go. The only thing I would ever support relatively similar to this idea is to create a Wiki Discord that would allow swearing. I don't even know how we could even get to this point. I am completely astounded in every single one of you. What we need to do is make efforts to reach out to the TLOPO community; we need to advertize, communicate, expand. Completely alienating part of our potential userbase is literally the worst thing we can do. I am genuinely curious about what leap of logic would cause something like this. Either I've gone crazy or everyone else has lost the urge to care.
I'm not allowed to vote, but I am heavily against this. The enacment of allowing even more profanity to enter the wiki unfiltered will completely battle any attemps to bring back old users and ruin our chances of bringing over new users. I want new users to feel welcomed to our community and old users to feel at home. Right now, I feel like we've all been thinking too much about the present, like we're the only people who are ever going to use this wiki. I don't know about you guys, but I think we all need to wake up and smell the coffee. POTCO, the game that our wiki was based on and what gave it the majority of its activity, has returned. We have so many opportunities that we just aren't taking, such as the hundreds of players that get on it each day, not to mention the thousands of pirates on the forums. If we want to bring our wiki back, we've got to make big changes, we've got to make it more family-friendly, we've gotta reattune it with POTCO and if we stay in this insane mindset of thinking that more profanity will make the community better, I don't see that happening.
President told me to appeal, so I'm appealing. I'm more active on chat than half of the people on the voting list (please don't fact check that). I have more than 50 main-space edits.
