December 13th, 2016 -- Nathaniel I resigns from the Dutch throne, leaving it to Leonhard Bosch II.
December 17th, 2016 -- Leonhard II signs the Dutch Piracy Act of 1749 into action, which effectively declares the Netherlands in a state of piracy, bestows its Caribbean lands to the 9th Brethren Court, and sanctions the British and their affiliates.
December 26th, 2016 -- Samuel Darkwalker replaces Leonhard II as the new Prime Minister of the Netherlands.
January 21st, 2017 -- Leonhard II abdicates from the throne and bestows it to Pirate King Cannonwalker.
March 30th, 2017 -- Leonhard II returns to the Dutch government as the Deputy Prime Minister.
April 4th, 2017 -- The Netherlands forms a trade and defense agreement with the Tongan Empire.
April 20th, 2017 -- Leonhard II is given the throne back.
May 11th, 2017 -- Finn Hamm is elected as President of the Senate.
May 13th, 2017 -- Finn Hamm becomes the Minister-President Regent, who will hold the power of Samuel Darkwalker in his absence.
May 13th, 2017 -- A trade agreement is signed between The Netherlands and the Tu'i Tongans which consists of exchanging assorted livestock and herbs.
May 30th, 2017 -- Finn Hamm is promoted to Minister-President, due to Samuel Darkwalker's inactivity. Samuel Darkwalker is demoted to President of the Senate. Additionally, the Netherlands is no longer a "pirate state." The Netherlands and piracy will be separate.
